“The Bible explicitly says that in the end times, most of the church will be deceived and leave the faith, reject the truth and chase after myths, eagerly embrace the Antichrist and persecute the small “faithful remnant” of true believers. Paul says it over and over. So does John. All the “end times” writers like Hal Lindsay and Tim LaHaye talk about this coming apostasy.
“Church leaders keep telling us we are in the end times.
“I say, if we are in the end times, then the modern Evangelical church is EXACTLY the false religion the Bible predicts, a church that hates the truth and chases after myths, a church that is hard-hearted, self-loving, concerned only with money and power, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.
“They can’t decide if I’m a heretic or an apostate. I hope I’m one of the faithful remnant.”
