Colorblind

Many times when white people say “I don’t see color” non-whites hear “I don’t see your history / your culture / your struggle.”  Non-whites hear an indifference to their story, a refusal to see how their racial background informs who they are.

Say instead:
”I try not to judge others by their color but by their actions.”

Claiming you’re colorblind only makes you part of the problem, not part of the solution.
