Garden Report July 19, 2024
So far this year we’re enjoying a pretty good spring garden season.
Our garlic crop was nice and bountiful, much better than previous years’ harvest.
The %#@& slugs are dramatically fewer after killing them off in record numbers with beer traps (we’re using Coors Light this time instead of Bud Light; make of that what you will).
Tomatoes are doing well, especially now that we dragged a sun screen over them.
Beans are shooting up so fast you can practically see them growing right in front of you.
Gophers have been trying to burrow their way in but we’ve kept them at bay with an underground wire basket that protects our plants.
